So, I have been asked to participate in a blog hop. Truth be told, I have no idea what that means–but assumed that I would need a blog–so, here goes!
I call my blog, “Stamp Therapy” because that is what it is to me. I have lots of friends who create to make money–or because they are incredibly talented–or because that is who they are. I create to stay sane. I can always tell when work is stressful–because my creative output goes WAY up! Family has asked about my cards, “Is it cheaper to make them than to buy them?” My answer is, “I don’t know–but I do know that it is cheaper than a therapist!”
I have been stamping for a number of years–when I was in Austin, a friend introduced me to a woman who was a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator who held monthly Stamp Camp meetings. I fell in love with the quality and variety of items available and was a regular stamp camp member and buyer. Recently, I found myself buying so much, that it made sense for me to become a demonstrator–so I could buy at a discount. But, then I went to Convention.
The best part was spending time with my friend and upline, Sami. The second best part was all the free stuff–every time we turned around, they were giving us stamp sets and accessories! The third best part was being with a group of women with a common cause–being the difference.
So, wish me luck–and hold on–let’s see where this takes us!
This is a gift card holder I made for my mom–pull the handles and the gift cards are snailed to the bottom of the card. (Sorry my toes got in the photo!)
